Transportation & Safety Guidelines
First Steps School prioritizes the safety and well-being of all students on campus and during transportation.
Young drivers are considered a vulnerable group due to limited driving experience, therefore strict transportation and parking regulations are enforced.
Implementation Policy
- Underage or unlicensed students are strictly prohibited from driving to school
- Students with learner permits must be accompanied by a licensed adult
- The policy follows legal transportation requirements
- The school monitors student safety and compliance
Student Driver Responsibility
Students permitted to drive must travel safely, responsibly and follow all traffic and road regulations.
Unsafe driving behavior or violation of traffic laws may result in disciplinary action and parent notification.
Rules for Licensed Drivers
- Students may not transport other students during school hours
- Cars may not be used during lunch breaks
- Vehicle and registration details must be submitted to the A-Level Coordinator
- Parents will be informed in case of policy violations
School Liability
Students driving to school do so at their own risk and responsibility.
The school accepts no liability for accidents, damage or incidents involving student vehicles.
Parking Lot Rules
- The parking area is considered part of the school campus
- School rules apply fully within the parking lot
- Students may not gather in the parking area during school hours
- Security staff instructions must always be followed
Zero Tolerance Policy
Smoking, substance abuse and possession of prohibited materials are strictly forbidden anywhere on campus.
Students found with cigarettes, lighters or contraband items may face immediate expulsion without prior warning.
Parking & Pick-Up Procedures
The school security team manages parking and pick-up arrangements to ensure student safety and smooth traffic flow.
All students and parents are expected to cooperate fully with the established procedures.
