Baby Steps: A Gymboree Program
After they begin to walk, at approximately 16 months, children join our toddler community where basic motor coordination, independence and language development are cultivated and individual personalities are respected.

Rather than a classroom, the Gymboree classes are a nurturing social community where very young children experience their first contact with other children and learn to participate in a cooperative group.

Enthusiastic and trained instructors engage students in innovative and developmentally appropriate exercises utilizing balance beams, rings, trampolines, sports skills stations, puppets and props. This is an active adult participation class and a parent must be present with each participating child. This is a wonderful way for mothers to spend quality time with their toddlers!

Our program pairs 45 minutes of enriching classroom activities including art, music, interactive story time and exploration of educational learning stations with 45 minutes of our toddler gymnastic curriculum.
